Coleman and Burvant to Speak on Louisiana Sales Tax Audits at Offshore Marine Service Association Legal Forum
Grant Coleman and Bob Burvant will be speaking at the 2018 Offshore Marine Service Association (OMSA) Legal Forum on the morning of November 13. Their presentation is titled “Best Practices and Lessons Learned on Surviving Louisiana Sales Tax Audits.” The event is open to the public, and continuing legal and continuing professional education credits are being offered.
Grant Coleman has been recognized by the Louisiana Board of Legal Specialization as a Board Certified Specialist in Taxation since the inception of the Louisiana Specialization Program in 1985, and his practice focuses primarily on taxation and business law. He's been a frequent author and lecturer on taxation and business law matters, and his practice experience includes planning, compliance, and controversy in virtually every area of federal, state and local taxation.
Bob Burvant is a commercial litigator with over 30 years of experience handling banking, construction, and corporate litigation. He also has significant experience in the areas of bankruptcy litigation, shareholder and director/officer disputes, maritime commercial litigation, commercial lease and property disputes, state tax litigation and oilfield legacy litigation.
