Malish to Speak on Recreational Boating Litigation
Jedd Malish will be a co-presenter for a program titled Legal Issues Encountered in the Litigation of Recreational Boating Incidents. This continuing legal education program is being hosted by the Admiralty Law Committee of the New Orleans Chapter of the Federal Bar Association on May 22nd at 4:30 p.m. The program will focus on handling such claims from the plaintiff and defense side, including the jurisdictional, procedural and legal issues unique to these cases; accidents resulting in death and the recoverable state law damages; and the issues when alcohol and/or drug use are involved.
Jedd Malish is a skilled and experienced litigator who has represented clients throughout Louisiana, Mississippi and Texas. Jedd has handled a wide array of matters including collisions, allisions, sinkings, salvage, pipeline ruptures, pollution, commercial disputes, insurance coverage, subrogation, recreational boating accidents and defense of personal injury and wrongful death claims arising under the Jones Act, LHWCA and general maritime law.
